・欧州委員会の防衛産業・宇宙総局（DG DEFIS）はAI/MLと地球観測（EO）を扱うワークショップ「Artificial intelligence and earth observation: From innovation to services」を実施した
・CopernicusやDestination Earth（DestinE）のデータをAI/MLで活用し、意思決定に資するリアルタイムな知見へ転換する可能性と課題を議論した
・AI-readyデータセット、効率的なワークフロー、High Performance Computing（HPC）など、AIモデルの開発・運用基盤の重要性を扱った
・CopernicusおよびDestinEの製品・サービスにおけるユーザーニーズの反映と、trustworthy AIの観点を論点に据えた
・Digital TwinsとAIを組み合わせたデモンストレーターの役割や、技術革新への波及を検討した
・EOデータに基づくAIソリューションの商用化に向け、企業が直面する課題と機会、普及を促す取り組みを共有した
・研究開発から運用サービスへの移行（transition pathways）や、次期Multiannual Financial Framework（2028-2034）を見据えたEOサービスのデジタル変革も議題とした
