・VAB内では、Artemis II打ち上げ後の点検、データ解析、修理が行われ、NASAはArtemis IIIに向けた地上設備の整備を進める
・NASAの4月16日公表内容では、修理対象としてflame hole panels、elevators、pneumatic panels、umbilicalsが挙げられている
・今回の移動は、SLSを搭載しないmobile launcher単独での最後のpad往復となる見込み

4月10日にArtemis IIのクルーが地球に無事帰還したばかりですが、地上チームに休む暇はありません。巨大な発射塔がVABに戻ってきた光景は、次の月探査ミッションに向けたカウントダウンが物理的に始まったことを意味します。前回より損傷が抑えられている点も含め、地上インフラの耐久性向上は着実に進んでいます。
